I thought about sending you a happy birthday card, but I do that every year, and it doesn’t do enough justice.

So I made you a song. It’s not the happy birthday song because then there is no difference between sending that or sending you an e-card.

It’s a simple, sober track. I wanted it to capture all the experiences you have had in life and appreciate the wisdom and maturity you have gained throughout those years.
