Double tracked cymbal with rubber mallet. I wasn’t sure I liked how the first take went, so tried it again. Still couldn’t decide which I preferred, so decided to overlap them. Each was recorded in two track mono, so panned them 30% either side of centre. One track has a metal street-sweeper bristle on the cymbal, the other has two. No modification was made to the sound.
