We danced barefoot till our soles hurt,
Moonlight stitching silver on our skin,
The night was a canvas, painted in laughter,
Every heartbeat drumming from within.
We gave the stars a reason to linger,
Spinning wild with the wind in our hair,
Pain in our feet, but fire in our spirits,
Love was the rhythm we carried there.
Every step a story, every twirl a vow,
Time could not catch us then, nor now—
We bled a little, but oh, it was worth,
To dance barefoot till our soles hurt.
