Santa Rosa

The band had all gone home, and I was left mixing what we had accumulated over the last few months of work on what is to be our “final” album. Things felt over. it seemed like we had reached a saturation point, where we had driven the car as far as we could go with it.
All that was left was the final mixes and song selection, for the album.

Something fresh had occured from the time we decide to disband and the result is, Santa Rosa.

A song from the past we had not yet mined, or perhaps a hint of something new, and tomorrow. Never say never, I suppose.

While we were writing this, I was thinking of Chris Pagan, a one time member of VC, and our “big” fallout.
It happened in Santa Rosa,Ca. and this song kinda makes me feel like something beautiful is slowly falling apart, changing into… something else.
