Night calls and the dark walls
are closing in again
Been so long since your song
has come to echo in my brain

Daylight, but my sight
seems to linger in the night
But the darkness shows less and less
as you slip out of my sight

And my mind is dry as the desert sky
and blind as the desert wind
And I don’t know why I should even try
to hope for rain again

But dark clouds coming rolling in

Lighting flashes and thunder crashes
and in the darkness sudden rain
