No Way
Will Stelter
There isn’t anyway to walk the oceans like he did,
And trust me, I know.
My mistakes drowned me,
A long, long long time ago.
You never seem to find,
Everything you’re looking for.
What a waste of time, to spend your life,
Buried on the ocean floor.
Your hands were tied,
No one can blame you.
In the end, we know,
We die.
I’ve been cracked, and I’ve been polished.
I’ve been new, and up kept.
I’ve been lost, I’ve been forgotten.
I’ve lost my words, and they remain unsaid.
Dig up the earth, to find your own stone coffin,
Make it home, make it fresh.
We’ll bury you, and you’ll be forgotten.
We’ll make sure, that you’re dead.
Embers crack and embers fade,
I’ll be gone in a matters of day.
I wont cry, or speak my mind,
Ill just sit, and expect that the end is cold.
I’ve been scared, and I’ve been angry.
I’ve been hurt and so in love.
I’ve been tired, and kept on walking.
I’ve been blind, I’ve been dumb.
Good tunes.
