Sailor
Will Stelter
Oh sailor, on a faraway coast, what haunts you at night.
Do you sleep with open eyes, are you afraid of the waves outside.
What’s worse than awaking, to find your boat capsized,
And all the hulls are flooding with the rising tides.
You’ve been swept from your beds, while you sleep,
The captain is reckless, thinks she can tame the seas.
Fox trots are sounding, oh woe is me, oh woe is me.
If only I could remember, shadows in my path.
Maybe next November, I’d be laying on green green grass.
If only I could reach, the safety of the boats,
Maybe I wouldn’t have to sleep so alone.
At the bottom of the sea.
You’ve been swept from your beds, while you sleep.
The captain is reckless, thinks she can tame the sea.
Fox trots are sounding, oh woe is me, oh woe is me.
Oh woe is me.
Will, be encouraged, you're material is beautiful, both lyrically and musically...and I'm excited to read that you are following a path in music therapy. There is healing in what you create. Be well. in awareness... ~Anthony
Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying this music! I danced, sang & acted along side your mother & father as a fellow "Jet" in a production of "West Side Story" back in '80They are both very talented & it sounds like that ability is manifesting itself in your art. Keep it up & let me know if you're ever giging in the Houston area. Thanks for the music! All the Best, As Ever, SNC
