Lovely, sounds like Emery looks, like the idea of using the high octaves as a tinkly music box a child might listen to. What a great way to welcome this tiny relative to the clan! Love aj
Beautiful work. I like when an introspective piano piece actually evolves emotionally, and this does. By the end it feels like it's reached a natural conclusion.
you take my breath away here,, so many thoughts feeling hopes fears,, heart beats pass away while i listen to this,,,but perhaps the trueist for me are, the pictures behind my eyes, in my mind,, of all the years i have been blessed to be with my children,, and no matter how i try (and i often don't) there's a part of me that always sees them forever young,,(which is not what they want to hear of course) , love your play richard
When you can play like that you don't need singers. Very much in the Ludovico Einaudi style which I listen to when I'm a bit stressed. For me, 6 minutes of tranquil beauty, thank you.
Celebrating my 1 yr. on this site. This just came out of the blue. Nothing planned here.
Thanks to all of you for your support and listening ears!

simply beautiful,, sometimes those that just appear of their own accord can be the most amazing,, on a tech note is this only recorded in mono? i was listening, and then switched headphones but still only have mono,, love the flurrishes after the 4 min mark,,,, always a fun way to add a bit of drama,, well done,, richard

Today I am saddened by a senseless attack on 27 innocent people who will now be missed by all those who knew them. When words can't explain the emotions, sometimes music can. Here is a song in memory of all those involved with the Sandy Hook Massacre…
.
Full moon, full of mystery
Full moon, shadows thru the trees
I can feel your spell, I’m beggin at you please
So long I been straight and true
No wrong has come into view
I can feel that dark side, all because of you
Way down…
Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment Greg. Keep recording - enjoy your work. Cheers! -- I wish alonetone would setup a "reply to comment" feature. ;)
My first acrostic prompt, requiring the word "Hope" to be spelled out by the first letter of the lines. Found in the chorus:
Hands don't fail me now
Oh, just a little tighter
Please hold on, hold on to
Everything

Thanks for your comment! Excellent driving rhythm here. Keep it up - Cheers
Clear and beautiful. Love this, please record more.
The harmony in this is well done. It made me think of the Cranberries.
Excellent. Very peculiar but it sparks my interest.
