This is definitely 70's rock, which is s good thing. However the female vocals in the second half very modern, which is interesting. I like it.
I would be very interested to hear this song with more female vocals. It's could bridge the gap between older rock, and modern "pop" rock. Nice work!

Really all comes together here. Better of a song, awe inspiring vocal delivery, perfectly measured production. The outcome is incredibly moving. As much as I adore eternity (and I do) I think this just pips it for me as my favourite Tess flavoured one. Esp. The emotional ending. Contender for fav Angie fights crime song ever

Megs voice is a real find for me. Absolutely love the tone.. And this song really really suits it. Hope to hear lots more of this voice. Got bits of nico.. I think that's what I pick up. So beautiful set against teases voice. Such a beautiful song Brent. Incredible

I have to agree with my alter-ego about the Doors thing, but I must add that the bass line is especially, wickedly, tasty! Alex did a great job on vocals and you did a mind-blowing excellent job of mixing down and mastering those vocal tracks.

You still can't believe
That you'd accept the reprieve
Despite the excitement of the sound
That detached you from the crowd
When the foliage recedes
Contracting one more disease
Hidden in the fog that engulfs and surrounds
What was lost has now…
So you feel like singing
All your friends say you'll go far
Be a star
You'd cut your arm off for those yesses
Sell your soul for just one more
But what for
You know it's only karaoke
Fake plastic art
It's OK you've got your mentors
And they really…
Ten stubbed out Embassy lay scattered on the floor
The silhouette behind the curtain disappeared from sight once more
Listening in again
Listening in again
The target reappeared, this time his luck was in
The microwave detector read the password…
When you speak
Random words projected out
When you hear
All ignored except the shout
Claiming that you want to be
One of the last to shake the tree
When you see
And your eyes reflect the past
When you feel
But the question's not yet asked
As…

K.G. wanted to write a "good times" song and i think he hit this one out of the park. here in indy the highway does a big loop around the city. add some fun and music and that equals a rockin' good time.

Rock on! Juicy sounds. Digging Gregg. Interesting lyrics. Love that guitar and the drums are kicking!
