Opening song for the album sets the tone about bathing in the bleakness, loving the melancholy side of life.

Frozen eyes.... and like the wail of a crying child... she grieves for what is lost to her... finding solace in a shared moment.... she absently brushes the thought away.... there is no beauty in the sky.... or warmth on her face…

I had a nasty cold that dropped my voice a few octaves. Between bouts of moaning I decided to record my voice. This is a little blues number that I improved on the fly.
