I was collecting 4th of July samples and recorded a jewel. By chance, I recorded my 4 year old girl, and you can hear her thought process...wondering how the fireworks were so high in the air - perhaps the fireworks were dropping from the sky…

Made from freesound.org sample "14909__reinsamba__Nightingale_song_2.wav" and a chopped up & looped jazz bass riff created with the "Poodles or Flan" tool.

Drones are nothing new. But I decided it was time to seriously explore them. For those interested in how these things develop. The drone was developed on my looper pedal by layering guitar sounds that were processed by uPOG and Freeze pedals…
