Sudara says: Just found this on my iPod.
Basically it was the first full mix of the tune, before it passed back to glu and then back to Sudara for the "original" version.
This is heavier, more energy, less fraility, and in Sudara's opinion a…
Instrumental (for now). I'd just moved into a new place in the city, and was feeling pretty good about my future. There's a definite touch of both my rock and dance influences scattered throughout this one.
Great song!! I agree with sister on this, lose some of the pitch shifting and you've got yourself a hit. The chorus is a great hook! It's going to be in my head all day. To those that are having troubles playing, click the down arrow and load the mp3 directly (alternatively, right click and save to your documents and play directly from there).
I like it - Since you're asking for opinions - I find the pitch shifting effect a little over-powering on this otherwise tender and very sweet love song. You have a beautiful tone I'd like to hear it without the effects. Really lovely song!
ok, volume is fixed, and the title too. Maybe soon I will mix it better or perhaps just move on to better things. Thanks to those who gave excellent advice on previous version.
and the #2 version has been deleted (actually this is #2).
Nice track; the bass & guitar fit well together, tonally.
I can't upload an unsegmented version of MFR to alonetone because of the 40Mb limit, but you can download it here instead:

Hey Bethan :) thank you for trying to listen to it i believe that if you click the down arrow it takes you to another window which has constantly worked for me. also you should check out go on winter. this song has a lot of effects
A second version with the initial lead guitar standing alone...a little cluttered after a few listens and some constructive feedback!
Norm's Groove for St Monica inspired this one. Thanks Norm!
Lead Guitar, bass guitar and acoustic guitar…
Man, excellent. I feel like I'm suspended in an wild place...thanks for the comment on my song. Ed was a friend of mine, and I miss his rage at the machine...adios

This has a lovely relaxed feel to the music (reminiscent of the soundtrack to Moon?). I like the clean feel for the chorus in the first two iterations but I'd add the sha-la-las in for the play out to give some differentiation.
As Kavin says, I think it needs something around the 2:40 mark. Maybe something instrumental and a bit soaring.

This came up on Radio "songs you haven't heard" but I swear I've heard this. great tune.
Very patient and progressive mix. Proof that pauses can add a significant amount of flavor

Might be that the vocals sound a bit clearer in this version, but damn- they're both great!
