Part of an audio sculpture I'm working on that uses the stuff I usually cut out of my radio interviews and turns them into...something new.

Some American Indian tribes intentionally make mistakes in their art...as to show that it wasn't done by the gods...whatever good this does you.. heh.

Using the microKORG, GarageBand drum kits, and a cheap acoustic guitar. Beware, it is far from done. The final version will likely be longer and less repetitive (if possible).

This is my second experiment with "song form". In this case I tried out probably the simplest form: "IABABCABE" where I - intro, A - verse, B - chorus, C - break, E - end. Although I'm not sure if the verse is supposed to build into the…

Just working out some rhythms. Toucans come in at about 1 minute.. wish I could get the sound onto vinyl for some proper scratching. I used Sandbags' awesome generative sequencer Elysium for some of the ambient and lower pitched toucans. The lead…

seems you have an affinity for wildlife. I have done a few songs with that in mind. One I mixed; whale songs, monks, the sounds from a sonogram of the womb, sounds that planets make, birds. The weird thing is..when you play some of them faster or slower..they sound like the others.

Shaken, not stirred please. Experimenting more with sandbags' Elysium. This time I used it to trigger elephant samples for part of the percussion section.

Just a spontaneous (and very rough) two hour tune. Written and recorded yesterday, edited and mixed today. I might as well get it uploaded now because I'll be spending the next two weeks preparing to move across the country. Lyrics: We…

This is a remix of Mason Proper's tune Safe for the Time. Check out their other music here: http://masonproper.com/ It is a dark piece of Basic Channel techno dub-itude

This song was made by two different piano samples (both from Sudara): 1. One was recorded by Sudara (and gang?) axing away at a hapless old piano in New Mexico. 2. today, I convinced Sudara to noodle on the piano and send it over to me…

Brando, this is my favorite. It's beautiful... that weird beat flanger is really nice. what really makes the song for me is the end: the way it dissolves into this sad chordal montage....you got me there.

Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…

Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
