young and lovely, with a wise patina
tapping her toe like Degas' ballerinas…
great bass sound. singing like a girl is a strenght not weakness. you dont really sound like a girl. i think what you are afraid of is being emotional .....like a girl. please that is so much better than the alternative. be happy

one hand clapping in the sycamore trees
while you're out mapping the coast
won't you come back, brother, oh please
I swear that I miss you the most
the Pacific…
this song was inspired from an ee cummings poem. it was composed for rpm 2009.
lyrics:
i'll tell you a dream i had once
up in the sky blue everything
flying away a kite on a string
i didn't have anything
i was cool you were warm…
I heard someone say to an undergraduate class, 'you're on your way to everywhere' and I loved that line. This is sort of a Beatle-esque tune. My friend Mike Levine stopped by while recording a showed me a new jig on the mandolin. I recorded…
I love it David! It takes it back more to how it was written.. only with piano instead of strummed acoustic. My missus will like it too as she wasnt happy with where i took it in the end. The anguished vocal really ups the emotion, as does the stripped down arrangement. Definitely a job well done. Thanks for doing it boss :)
When CobSOn was 6 years old, mom and dad Cobson sent her to the local music school (in the suburbs of Toulouse) where she started to play the piano. The course lasted 11 years.
During the summer 2002, she wrote her first words, "give the slip…
somewhere around 3 minutes you should here the sound of people chopping down a tree in the Peruvian Amazon turn into the beat of the song. This song was somewhat influenced by Kim Hiorthøy.
I've been waiting all day to get home, just to be able to listen to this album without interruption - and it has been worth the wait. Absolutely Brilliant. I just can't get enough of this. k
This is from our album, "When I Was Your Age," recorded entirely in the month of February for our third year participating in the RPM Challenge. "When I Was Your Age" is a collection of 13 songs looking back at when we were kids.
Sunday aftnoon (11/09/08) took the reso down to the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and recorded some doodling inside the Serra sculpture Vortex. No effects added, all natural reverb inside the structure.
Oh Glu...you know I love what you do...and when this started up, the lights were dimmed and the wine glasses was full...I smiled knowing I was in good hands...lets go!

Love the atmosphere/flow (I don't know what to call it) on this beat.
Wow. That's spotless. Nice. Love how the vocals work together, and the melancholic wail and bounce.

This one just gets me drifting. Great use of space.
Man, the riffs going on in the background are just KILLER. Another ace.
