Did you see that?
Do you see what I see?
What was that way out there,
So far away from me?

I saw movement
Among the grass and trees.
Dark shapes moving,
Stalking you and me.

Who will believe me?
Who sees what I see?
If I cry wolf again
They won’t listen to me.

I have no weapons.
No sword. No bow.
If I do nothing
What happens, no one knows.

Here they come now
Keeping close to cover.
Moving like an army
Supporting one another.

Ready to make the kill
A calf, a lamb, a chick.
If no one tried to stop them
They can have their pick.
