What New Suit?
The inspiration for this is The Emperor’s New Clothes.

I just found the perfect tailors for me.
Don’t I look good?
Don’t I look fine?
They found the perfect fabric for me.
Don’t I look good?
Don’t I look fine?
A kind should look good for his people.
Show off the best of himself.
A kind should make them admire
Such perfection and wealth.
And this new suit does it.
This new suit is all that.
All this new suit really needs
Is a great heat.
I just showed off my new clothes for everyone.
They said I look good.
They said I look fine.
My parade through the town was more than grand.
I know I look good.
I know I look fine.
This suit is so light and free
It feels like there is nothing on me.
And the colors are so beautiful.
I’m glad they can all see.
Wait. Who is that little one?
What is that child saying?
What do you mean I’m naked?
Why are those deacons praying.
–break–
So I guess I made a fool of myself.
I guess they got a good laugh.
I don’t blame them at all for that.
Fool might be my epitaph.
But those tailors will pay the price
For making me look so bad.
They were laughing behind my back.
Now I’ll make them both so sad.
