King Arthur's Knight vocals by Inge
Endicott Road
The lyrics for this song were inscribed on the headstone when the legendary character Tom Thumb died. Inge did the vocals for this song and did a wonderful job. The harmonies, along with the a capella intro and coda, are hers, and take the song to the next level.

Here lies Tom Thumb, King Arthur’s knight
Who died by a spider’s cruel bite.
He was well known in Arthur’s court
Where he afforded gallant sport.
He rode at tilt and tournament
And on a mouse a-hunting went.
Alive, he filled the court with mirth.
His death to sorrow gave birth.
Wipe your eyes and shake your head
And cry, alas, Tom Thumb is dead.
These sad words, etched in stone,
Stood over the grave.
Memories of a life well lived
They hoped to save.
Though the body was so small,
His life touched them all.
Taller men have died away
Mourners had not much to say.
Will they miss him, who knows?
Wives and children carry one.
Husband, father, he is gone.
Only in the hearts of widows.
This is wonderful! Great song, lovely vocal. Very, very nice!
Love the music to this one Terry. Lovely Vocal Inge.
