BRITTAN007 :Good stuff. Put me in a laid back mood. I wish I could produce quality sounds like this. I'm still learning.
FSL: If I'm honest, more the product of experimentation than any musical skill ! I rarely know what I'm doing, but sometimes it works [the ones that dont make the grade, no-one will ever hear !]
From the album LIFE IS HARD IN THE LAND OF GHOSTS THEME PARK. The title was borrowed from a Dennis Wheatley novel... his foray into UFOs, and not a Satanist in sight !
From the album of the same name, this track really was recorded on a dark and stormy night, just to see if any of the elemental turmoil going on outside would lend its ambience to the proceedings. The thunder claps came from a sound effects album…

FSL : Unintentional ! Or maybe my subconcious was up to something ? This was one track that definitely came out greater than the sum of its parts.

The basics of this track were conjured up with a neat little programme called i2sm that converts photos or paintings into sounds [its free - google it]. The music here was generated by a photo of, yes, a Sunflower in an urban backyard.

This is a cover of somebody from the 1970's... had a dream with a version like this in a post-dinner nap.
I recorded it as a laugh... but it is kind of interesting.

slightly different mix for sinbad multitrackstudioforum who suggested a vocal boost and some creepy Vincent Price reverb(i may have given it too much of a boost though)
sort of vaguely electroskank arrangement with some hints of klezmer &…

Actually, it was, if I remember correctly, the trombone voice on an electric keyboard. May have used effects on it, cant honestly recall.

Nicely done mate cool.
cool mix mate.
very good, I like the way it builds up and is still open enough for the listener to participate, as you do...
Captures the mood perfectly
Another wild mix mate.
Nice one!
This track feels in place in a videogame like Quake 3 or something. I love the retro feel the song has. Great tune :)
love your playing style dude!
Wild mix mate you and Greg Albrecht seem to be on the same wave.
I feel at home with your tracks, barking up the same tree perhaps :)

Actually, it works very well as an instrumental - would be great on your film soundtrack :]
I think I must have missed the infamous video...but I like this.
It was Dorothy Moore that did the original.

I'm kind of picking up a sort of Lovecraftian thread running through these pieces [the writer, not the band]. This is my favorite so far.
Object lesson on how to do a cover version:] Love the panel beater, or whoever it was on percussive !
Nice :]
Wow - my cat loved this ! She's one relaxed feline now.
Yeah, aloud beats words on the page every time.More to come, I hope ?
Was almost expecting a cover of the Sonny & Cher song - which'd have been interesting - but this is better !
I hope this is going to be continued... you cant stop there, I want to know what happens next !
This comment for Sp01 to 05 inclusive - all excellent stuff. Encore !
From the soundtrack for an imaginary spaghetti western ?
Yeah...I like that.
mesmerising !
Like the juxtaposition of the creepy subject matter and jaunty tune.
Like the Middle Eastern touches.
Nice. I enjoyed that.
