This one makes me really happy. Soothing and a little snappy. Guitar, bass, lyre, bongo, bodhran (brush), vocals.
Lyrics:
Life is a roller coaster
Just turn on the toaster
I know you're up and down
Just make a happy sound
Flying a dragon…

I dreamed this song once, with Eddie Vedder on vocals. It stuck in my mind, and I've finally got around to recording it. Sadly, I can only sing it in my own voice! Ah well :)

Talking to the cat during a recording session! I don't really know what this was going to be at first, but I like what it turned into...

A mellow instrumental track. Keys, bass, guitar.

It's a long-distance love song
Yes, a long-distance love song
I'll sing it just for you
I'll sing a long distance love song
When the night is long
And you've been gone from home
Sing a long-distance love song
Yeah a long-distance love…

Messing around, playing a classic. Recorded on my phone. Lots of fun!
(Merle Travis, Tennesse Ernie Ford, Johnny Cash all did popular versions; probably a million others have played it at some point.)

A cover of Great Big Sea's cover of Ron Angel's song. I love both versions. I used guitar, bodhran, vocals.
Edit: reuploaded; fixed up the vocals a bit.

Here's an instrumental folk Celtic sort of tune I made today. Guitar, bass, pennywhistle, mandolin, bodhran.
Took about 4 hours to record all the parts properly. The result is a delightful minute and a half, I think!

I dreamed this song a while ago. Sort of a music circle in a pub. Lots of instruments and percussion and what not. I quite like it :)
(Bass, lyre, bodhran, bongos, shaker, 2 mandolin tracks, multiple clap tracks)

Plucking out a soothing little tune in Em on my little lyre harp. Recorded on my phone.

A fun little mandolin reel I did, inspired by the pub music playalongs from the online academy of irish music on youtube.

My attempt at this super fun sea shanty!
This is an old New Zealand whaling song. The popular recent version was recorded a cappella by The Longest Johns. I'm using the chords suggested by Piotrek_G on ultimate-guitar.

Another soothing, kind of playful fingerpicking tune, in something like E minor.
I had intended to put some lyrics over the rhythm track, but then I was having fun with the lead and decided to just keep it this way for now. Maybe another version…

Some soothing noodling in E minor. Feels a bit like Days of the New, I think.

My little Beaver Creek guitar was lonely, so I picked her up and this was the song we made.

This is a super silly tune in French about Elizabeth Gregory, who is apparently responsible for the modern doughnut. One story is that she made some for her son, a sea captain, who stabbed one through the spoke of the wheel during some high winds…

A very soft cover of the Barenaked Ladies' hit, Brian Wilson. Their (excellent) tune is normally played with gusto. The live version on the Rock Spectacle album is dripping with energy, and that's usually how I like to play it. But today I thought…

My wife and I get a new ornament every year, for something memorable from the past year. This is a Christmas song about that tradition. I don't know if it's destined to become a Christmas classic, but I quite like it :)

A brighter tune, for sunny Saturday afternoons.
Lyrics:
It's a Saturday afternoon
Got better things to do
But it's a Saturday afternoon
And I'm thinking about you
Autumn's in the air
Crisp breeze, open windows
It's a sunny afternoon…
