BICYCLE EDDY 022815 - CUSHIONS
Dude stole my guitar
so I wrote a song about him…
BICYCLE EDDY
Bicycle Eddy, he rode at night
Had no fenders on his bike
Had a brown streak up the back of his shirt
Eddy don’t care. “It’s just dirt.”
Bicycle Eddy, he slept all day
Had a nest in the bushes up on Riverside Way
A sleeping bag and a plastic tarp
A stole guitar and a cheap blues harp
Bicycle Eddy, don’t take a bath
Hides his bike down by the path
He steals candy to trade for smokes
Clothes-pens face cards to his spokes
Bicycle Eddy was a peeping Tom
You want a picture, he’d sell you some
Dig his dinner outta Subway trash
He’d spit on your car. He’d piss on your grass
Bicycle Eddy, what a jerk
He’d steal from the poor man when he was at work
Bicycle Eddy, he’s not too smart.
He took a twenty dollar bill for a thousand dollar guitar
Then he made a mistake. He robbed a rich man’s house
Tripped an alarm. They smelled him out.
Bicycle Eddy, now the joke’s on him
He rides an exercise bike at the Leavenworth Gym.
