Right now it's just an instrumental...but we have plans to expand this into a song about a paranoid drug dealer. And no, it's not autobiographical!

From the concept album The Tower of Rust. In this song, the main character has become aware that he has become one with many past lives. "And now I'm someone else".

This is a fictional song...I get asked this all the time and I don't want anyone thinking my dad did anything like this...got you covered pops! LOL! Anyway, it's a song about child abuse and that's a tough subject to tackle but I think I did it…

Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime

Timestretched acoustic guitar, cicadas. A sonic tribute to Ray Bradbury, who turns 90 this Sunday.

I'm a complete idiot when it comes to all things midi related. Recently got myself a midi keyboard though and came up with this short piece just messing with sounds in Proteus. Really looking forward to the possibilities of combining this sort…

Archival stuff from my distant past with former bandmates in Scartaglen. A set of traditional Irish tunes. Rescued from a cassette tape done at a concert back in the early 90's. Myself on Uilleann pipes and whistle. Mike dugger on guitar and fiddle…

This song is from the concept album "The Tower of Rust" that we have yet to release. It is the villain (Ahriman) of our story introducing himself to the audience...and attempting to paint himself as a reluctant hero.

We are the wounded...all of us. The ones who watch. The ones who bare the scars. And those who make the scars. Humanity itself is The Wounded as we watch ourselves kill each other on the evening news, or turn our heads to see the accident victims…

Very moody tune. I'm more a fan of your heavier stuff but I totally dig the lyrics in this song. The strings kick ass!

Screaming Distance is the distance between our houses…and so it is also the name of our band. Our main focus is to write the kind of music that we are into, rehearse it, record it, and then give it away. We all have careers in other fields so our musical business model is to remove all barriers($) between the listener and our music…in other words “it is free”. We are Jeff Crowder (guitars/vocals), Allan McLaughlin (bass/keyboards/vocals) and Marshall Ostovich (drums). Please let us know if you like the stuff. If you don’t like it…try somebody else. There are loads of great artists here on alonetone. Cheers!
