The different guitar voices (nylon string classical and Guild 12-string) were attained using a Line 6 Variax 600 modeling guitar. Great for recording, but I returned it because of some minor issues.
Yeah the Variax even had a cool banjo and sitar model! But I took it back to GC because the harmonics sounded tinny, nothing like an acoustic. A minor quibble, really.

A test run with my new Line 6 DL4 delay pedal. Recorded with a handheld mp3 recorder, hence the ambient room noise. The DL4 was fed into a BOSS loop pedal also. No overdubs, all on the fly.
Recorded in 1990, this music brings together the alto sax of Carlos Ward, the late Tim Green on tenor, Louis Moholo on drums, and Paul Rogers on bass, along with Dallas trumpeter Dennis Gonzalez.
A tribute to my good friends Saturn's Return from Southport, ME. A great hard punk/metal band. The first three parts were instrumental songs, so I felt I could offer my playing this way. Check em out on Facebook!
More from the archives. This was the opening cut on Scartaglen's 1986 album "The Middle Path". A double jig, a slip jig, and 2 reels. I played bouzouki and Uilleann pipes on this cut
