Judgment Day

I suppose it could be worse
I know I’m lucky I’m all right
But I can tell that you’ve been cursed
And it keeps me up at night
So few are born to come in first
So many born into a fight
If the roles had been reversed
Would they still believe they’re right
Would they still believe they’re right

I guess I always thought
We could make it go away
But the battles that we fought
Are with us still today
The future that we sought
Is just fading into gray
Meant to be a melting pot
Now a nation led astray

When did we lose our way
I wish I had the words to say
I see a world in disarray
Is this our judgment day
