Walking Back from the Brink

The last couple of years have been soaked in sadness, numbness and loss, and it’s not something I’ve tried to hide, even when making music. But I’ve come to realize that it’s my own responsibility to lay forth the effort to find new happiness – or a more serene numbness – for those around me as much as myself. To help take my mind off of things, I bought a little keyboard with the intention of learning how to play and hopefully make some happier songs.

This may be silly, or borderline psychotic, but expressing where I want to be instead of where I am feels like a step in the right direction. Anyway, this is just playing around with the idea and, well, trying to play a few chords and messing around with the various instrument sounds available on the keyboard.
