Great! Get a delay, reverb, and loop pedal, and begin some guitar noodle work... These are not songs, not even close, so personally I would make some self assessment, if I was you.
Part IV of a fully improvised ep. Available for purchase at bandcamp.

By buying you will also get a $5 discount on the price of the LP I am working on once it comes out.
The last track that I'm going to upload for a while. I will be re-recording a few songs to release a LP under my own name. Hopefully it'll be good :)
This one is another exploration using loops and delays. I hope you like it!

I had a bit of a dry spell with writing new music but today I have decided to break it.
This is loosely based on another song of mine, titled Swell.
I hope you enjoy this.

I wanted to see what I could do to the guitar to make it sound as a guitar as little as possible.
I think its a very interesting experiment in sound. I hope you like it.

Just playing around with my looper again. You can probably tell I love that thing.
I wanted to build up the tension and the harmony using overlapping layers of notes with basically the same rhythm.. so that the whole piece builds up and up and…
thanks guys :) @jarvis, I agree.. I think I may have waited a bit long with the alternate theme.
Although, I believe that the constant variation in the harmony and rhythm can justify the lack of variation in the theme, because the interest of the listener would be held by the variation in the harmony and rhythm. Much like Reich's Music for 18 musicians.

A nice 'build up' track....I'm sure there is a poncey name for the style and some very accomplished playing ,but it takes a little too long to get variation in the theme.Perhaps you could have brought the melody part in earlier....don't get me wrong it is a good sound but that would be my positive crit....or obbo. Cheers Jarvo.
Its a song that was inspired by a dream I had. In fact.. it was the soundtrack to the dream. The ending is purposely left with a feeling of being not finished, as I can't remember how the dream ended.
I hope you all like it :)
Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime
Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…
I love it. The lyrics are fun, and all of the parts work very well together :)
Kind of reminds me of some stuff Weezer did as well as a bunch of other stuff.
Good Job!

Reminiscent of Neil Young's Dead Man soundtrack. Keep up the great sounds Max.

Nice impressionistic piece there!
Good to see that you are back in the saddle! This is very nice. Very nice.
Reminds me of the prog rockers of the 70's,which for me is a good thing 80).
Very nice playing!
oceans indeed.. very relaxing..
Nice use of delay. I like!
Cool. Have you tried putting a remote up to the pickups and pressing different buttons. You can also sing into your humbuckers. have fun. JRR

very fine playing! i like it a lot
I like it! There is something in the vocal melody and the way in which it fits with the guitars that makes me get the butterflies in my stomach.
your voice is amazingly clear on this one. Its almost mesmerizing!

It reminds me a lot of early Pat Metheny stuff.. but not entirely.. Either way - I love it.
I agree with what sandbags said before me. Its quite awesome :)
i love the interplay between all of the instruments. the subtle guitar parts and all the percussion instruments really work for me :D
