Playing around with loops a bit more. I like it, although I feel that perhaps its a bit cluttered at time? Please let me know what you think.
To answer some of the questions I got on the last track:
The looper I use is a Digitech DL-8 Hardwire…
This is the first tune I wrote using an actual loop pedal. I really like the rawness of its form. The sound is sharp, it kind of attacks your ear.. but then after it loops around a few times, it calms down and sinks in..
I expect that there will…
Its my first attempt at writing a piece for piano. I think this would probably best be played by two players..
if I ever write out the piece on paper, it might have to be so.
I would value any of your comments greatly, as I greatly want to improve…

My second attempt at writing a piece for solo piano. Quite obviously the inspiration were Philip Glass Steve Reich and Terry Riley.
I hope you like it.
Ha! I couldn't believe it when I heard this. I've got to tell you that I have played this very pattern on my congas many times - it is the quintessential consonant (i.e. congruent, enharmonic) 1.5:1 polymeter – aka 4 vs.6. The higher pitched piano notes playing 6 beats/bar and the lower (basically) 4 beats/bar. "The 4 pushes the 6 like a gorilla pushing a swing". It is easy to get lost in patterns like this because it can be listened to from the vantage point of either the 4 or 6. One of my favorite examples of this effect is "Carol of the Bells". Nice work.

This track hasnt started off sounding anything like this. I had a drum beat in my head, so I keyed it into my laptop, then edited it around and it ended up like this.
then i recorded everything, and just as i was about to save it.. EVERYTHING…
Wow, loving this gorgeous nocturnal playlist! Great you put them all together like this or I would've missed them. Beautiful work! And the night-concept works brilliantly.
Its a song that was inspired by a dream I had. In fact.. it was the soundtrack to the dream. The ending is purposely left with a feeling of being not finished, as I can't remember how the dream ended.
I hope you all like it :)

you arppegiate like a master. your chops are more than admirable. how long have you been playing piano?
also, can i put drums to these pieces by any chance?
I'm very proud of this one, Especially the middle section where the melody drastically changes.
Yes, I know this is very short.. But this one, the 2 preceding it and the next few piano pieces, I use to learn how to compose for piano. After that…

Parts of it loosely reminded me of the final fantasy theme. The unison run section at the end would be a great tag for a fusion tune, reminded me of some Chick Corea sort of stuff.

Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime
Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…
I love it. The lyrics are fun, and all of the parts work very well together :)
Kind of reminds me of some stuff Weezer did as well as a bunch of other stuff.
Good Job!

Nice!
nice tones.
Love that melody that comes in after the one minute mark.Cool!
Excellent - what pedal are you using?
this is excellent - I love what you do with the chord stabs towards the end especially!
I find it fascinating that your first attempt at writing a piece for piano is in 7/8 time signature! Cool beans!

sustain or loop FX's can be hard to work with at first pass but you did a really good job here and the result is a fantastic and unusual trip
Excellent! A loop pedal - how fun! Nice work here!
interesting... yes this would be fun to listen to on a quiet evening
Cool...nice rhythms, and I agree with kirk that the bass + whatever is on top of it sounds great

Love this. Both dark and dreamy.
Very cool! Love the bass sound
Very nicely done

He is like a young Mozart, before all the crazy

very fine playing! i like it a lot
I like it! There is something in the vocal melody and the way in which it fits with the guitars that makes me get the butterflies in my stomach.
your voice is amazingly clear on this one. Its almost mesmerizing!

It reminds me a lot of early Pat Metheny stuff.. but not entirely.. Either way - I love it.
I agree with what sandbags said before me. Its quite awesome :)
i love the interplay between all of the instruments. the subtle guitar parts and all the percussion instruments really work for me :D
