this is for the sound-in event "Unheard improvisation playing event."
I did not listen to the sounds and randomly picked the presets and settings on the supernova II --- I was just blindly looking at the levels in audacity as it was recording --
the submission for the sound-in event Groove--- I have taken my voice and some synth samples mixed them in novations iPad app LaunchPad- so as using the voice samples in loops not too groovin but anyway---
I have mashed Shane Cadman and Chris Vaisvil and myself. this is a neat mix -- I took Shane Cadman's song here and then with Chris's mandolin work I stretched it out to match the length of Shane's Song as well as doing the same with two drum…

yeah the supernova II has very powerful beat creation tools.. like a-h letters of preprogrammed drum mappings going onβ and a way to work with them I have never bothered with being a zero beat kind of personβ so I took a little time out to put…

"Genocide in Gaza.. genocide in ukraine... Genocide on earth" π..a song inspired by your song .. I should finish it.. thanks for posting your song..
I was sorry to see Sam Ash went out of business, though I was able to purchase a student viola at a very reasonable price.
This piece is for nylon guitar, viola, and voice.
I like this.. but I like most experiments that fail.. this is really not bad.. the chimes and the voice is great π too much fuzzy stuff on the guitar πΈ it's the end when they are dropped that you're getting to the good points in the song.. but yes fuzzy buzzing guitar solos are good usually.
I like the moving dissonance. the chords vs the running of notes together is very powerful. are you able to improvise like that then "switch" hands the one doing the chords is now doing the runs and the one doing the runs switches to chords?? or is it that only the one hand can do runs and the other chords?
Background drone is one of the saved "sequences" on my Roland SE-02 synth, likely from its original owner. The plucked string sound is also from the SE-02, but triggered via MIDI by a Casio DH-100 and played while the drone was running. These…
I'm working on a new album of electronic pieces with modular synths and Pure Data and possibly some electro-acoustic, electro mechanical. This one will be in the mix.
Warm and minimal clean.. to listen π to the other lines of melody come in soft but just right can't wait for the album π the sounds at about 3:14 or pi time is wild and fun π
The Skybeam engineers were placed in sensory deprivation pods and dosed with specially designed psychotropic drugs to enhance perception and creative abilities, the music injected directly into their cerebral cortex for maximum effect..
Comments on Newbold's stuff
Cool soundscape. Is that analog synth?
Wild, Bill! Like falling in a vortex and the heartbeat I didn't note on first listen!
Great vibe here! Spacey and reflective. I once also used a heart beat through a song...it really creates an intense feeling.
This feels like the soundtrack for yet-to-be-made sci-fi movie. With claymation aliens.
How crazy, I felt in another dimension, I like it!
unheard midi created performance--- using various presets and editing the midi and sound
Very unusual piece, and especially for your typical very thick wall of sound collages. Very good, I enjoyed the piece!
thanks Jim-
Liquid space Bill, fluid and magical!
This an impressive combination!
like John Luther Adams in a way :) inventive with simplicity and I like where you transition to 'be the .... Bill
Very cool, crazy and well crafted and out of the box just like I like it...
Thank you for putting this together! Sounds great!

Very interesting vibe to it, like a haunted wasteland. never heard piano like this before.
Wonderful!!!

make that 2:50
