Crushing Moon
t boudreau

Theres a time and a place
Theres a sign on the wall
Theres that line on your face
That says you slept after all

Theres a calming inside
That comes before the dawn
We’re all along on this ride
Hoping to be reborn

Sit and wait for the world to end
I hear its coming soon
Until then we’ll just pretend
It aint true

Try n run from the falling skies
Under the crushing moon
I remember the stars in our eyes
Don’t you?

I remember a time
Not so long ago
Everything was sublime
Between me n you

And then some shifting of tides
I pushed thru the winds of change
Left me standing beside myself
In the cold once again

Sit and wait for this pain to end
But probably not for a while
I guess its best i just pretend
And smile

Underneath these threatening skies
Oh that crushing moon
I remember stars in our eyes
Don’t you?

We learn to stand on our own
It makes us stronger inside
And as history has shown us
Some how worlds collide

And with a fleeting glance
We go our own separate ways
Holding on to the chance
We’ll meet again someday

Sit and wait for the pain to end
Lord make it soon
Get in line for the medicine
sad but true

Try n run from the falling skies
Under the crushing moon
I remember the stars in our eyes
Don’t you?

Bury me under falling skies
Oh that crushing moon
I remember stars in our eyes
Don’t you?

Do you put much thought into sequencing tracks? If not, this is INSPIRED sequencing so far! Love this coming after Brighter Side. DIgging the organ on this one, I'm a sucker for the Hammond sound.

Saved!
