-The Weaver Man-
T.Mokbul
The cloth has been cut by the weaver man
His thread was his wisdom and words
The brim of his hat worn by lessons in life
His fingers now callous though song
“Slide through this life†says the weaver man
“And let every stage be your churchâ€
“Take your tidings and saviour themâ€
“Good life doesn’t pay for its selfâ€
Sing your life
Hear your song
Sing your life
Hear your song
So maybe I’ll see you again for a while
On this day I’ll show you the moon
The sun won’t outshine the beauty of dark
With all of our friends in this room
A mason has carved you a place in the sky
Where rum flows like smoke from the ruins
Closing time drifts on till everything’s said
And the only word left is goodbye
Sing your life
Hear your song
Sing your life
Hear your song
Wonderful lyrics , but what i like most is the quality of the performance , the vocal is class , and the guitar comes across quite Dylanesque
For some reason the song does not play here, but since I already know it from Songcrafters I can honestly tell you: It IS a gem, like Bethan says. And, of course, I downloaded it to my MP3 player. Thanks for sharing, Tharek. And sorry for your loss. Regards, Steffen
Another gem, Tharek.
Wonderful, Tharek. You're amazing.
Good one.
