I continue to struggle with hand independence. I tried to teach myself the left hand pattern that starts the song, so that I could riff against it. But no. Just couldn’t get it. So I decided to switch to block chords for the actual melody improvisation…

A change up for me in that there’s no damper pedal on this one. Have I mentioned how bloody difficult it is to operate a damper pedal whilst sitting on a balance ball? Don’t try this at home folks!

Another Sunday cover, this time putting an acoustic spin on one of my favorite tunes from RPM2010 - Communist Party by the great Sha-Pink. This song marks the first time I've ever used live percussion.

One movement from the project done with Zofia Dowgiallo. She did most of the job - played (improvised) music. I had only provided the computer part of the project. :-)

The verses in this song alternate being about my best friend when I was a little kid, and my best friend at the time I wrote it. I thought it was brave and artsy at the time. Then I grew up. :)
