Live Without

Idea number three for the 2024 RPM Challenge becomes completed song number six.

I am positive that I have written this exact song at least 10 times before. I guess I must like it enough to use it on this year’s RPM Challenge album then.

I often think, while working on these recording projects, that life would just be so much easier if I could sing… also if I could play guitar. There is some seriously crappy lead playing making the cut on this one.

Speaking of guitars, all of the tracks are my Les Paul Custom into the direct outs of both a Fender Bassbreaker 15 and a Vox MV50 Clean. The pedal chain on the rhythm tracks include an Earthquaker Devices The Depths into a Klon KTR into a Keeley D&M Drive into a Seymour Duncan Vapor Trails. The pedal chain for the crappy leads includes an MXR Phase 95 into the KTR into the D&M into the Vapor Trails.
