I agree it's a bit shrill in places. This track is actually one of the few times I've thought I shouldn't just publish but should polish. I often struggle with this feeling and - as with this track - lose.

Lovely melodic fragments, overlapping beautifully. It does sound a little shrill in places, which is forcing me to listen very quietly. Intriguing! As MMI said, more please!!!!!!!

i like it... it somehow makes me feel like there's something more discontent than i am right now... Cool stuff, and I love the fact that you detailed your voyage in making it as well

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I'm getting some odd distortions on playing here this morning that I didn't notice in the original (esp. since this piece doesn't play "hot"). They're not supposed to be there. Odd.

I like the nice little tinkly rhythm throughout. It is a tad long perhaps, unless you did add something else, you could view it as a very pretty piece of work in progress.

I think it's too long, not enough variation, and needs at least some filtering. Might try a cello next time, or maybe a harmonica.

@matt Poetry, Yeah. This is often the case. My comment: I'm just showing how the tragedy and heroism of some people is suddenly not so that there is, and even ... vice versa, sometimes. "I am a mirror," as sung by Leo Sayer in one of the Alan Parsons Project song. Although ... Okay, a distraction. ~Every face is someone else~

@igor: it's often the way with poetry, no? But you offer an interesting historical footnote :) But, in a sense, the poem is a distraction.

If anything can be very lovely, this is.

I like, especially the part around the 1m mark onwards, nice choice and mix of sounds, and nice outro a little haunting as 2starsho says.

I liked this until the voices cut in… then I loved it.

Listening again and I actually really love the lo-fi almost accidental feel to this recording. Work of art. My one regret is that I can't double-favourite it.

I have no idea why I thought "Edward Lear" and "Ring Modulator" in the same moment. Probably I shouldn't have.

Thanks for the kind words both. Chris it is a pretty good idea but I can't take any credit for that, I got it from Pendle @ SoundDust. He uses it to build his Plastic Ghost Piano and I thought it sounded like something cool to play with.
