A second demo of my Neurotik sequencer built in Max for Live and emulating the Neuron Sequencer from Audio Damage’s latest instrument Axon.

I’ve fixed up some stuff in the sequencer to make it easier to use and a little more reliable. This time I have the 7 neurons playing notes C3-B3 and I’m editing the connections between neurons & activation thresholds in real-time as the piece progresses.

Neurotik is playing a piano/guitar hybrid granular patch from Omnisphere fed through the Audio Damage Eos reverb. I used the lush ‘This Budds for you’ preset although I played with the diffusion a bit to bring out the individual piano notes better, especially during the faster section.

This one has a nice reverb tail so no abrupt return to reality!
