When Do You Show It

What you think and what you feel –
Is it enough and is it real?
And do you believe it – do you believe it?

What you know and what you fear –
Ain’t it time to be sincere?
And can you see it – can you see it?

Whether you’re in or whether you’re out,
If it’s your will or if it’s your doubt,
You have to own up to what you would choose to do.
Just learning the facts – that ain’t enough,
You must find your heart and bring yourself up,
To stand in the sun – your life’s just begun.

And what you love and what you hate –
Which of these will cause your fate?
And when do you show it – when do you show it?

Wherever you go is right where you are,
You can’t escape no matter how far.
So run to yourself – can’t be no one else.
