You asked me who Jack Hardy was...He was a friend of mine, now gone. Beloved by many. This was a bit of teasing him, imitating how he sang. He and I shared a mutual respect. The first time I met him I was sitting under an awning at the Kerrville Folk Festival and he pulled up a chair and said, "Sing me a song." We were buddies from then on. The day he would arrive at Kerrville was always joyfully anticipated, not just because he made such great spigot. Great songwriting, as usual! The mix needs some EQ, it's a little "thick", and the drums don't quite suit the song IMO. But nonetheless, great job!

Thanks for listening, guys! I just fixed a problem with the kick (some dropouts) and cleaned up the low end a little. I cannot hear very well though, so I'll have to leave the final touches for later.

BTW: nice to see you again, Anna! :) I remember this song. The pure acoustic version still works best for me. (Get rid of that extreme reverb - it makes you sound like you were standing in a central station and kills your great songs. )
