Muscadine Wine (demo)
This is the demo version of what was to be a full-on internet band thing. The instruments are place holders (but not bad in part). Just pretend the lead guitar player got into the wine early. Sadly, it will likely never get beyond ‘demo’, but I think it’s too good not to share. Consider it a compnion piece to The Tworegs “Wicked Ways of Whiskey”, but about the UP side of alcohol.
I don’t know if the time sig is 7/4 or swings back and forth from 3/4 to 4/4, but don’t try to dance to it. It’s OK to stumble.
Chorus
Muscadine wine, Muscadine wine
It tastes so fine, that muscadine wine
Warms up my toes as it numbs up my nose
I do love that muscadine wine.
I find my place, Grandma says grace
Cornbread and onions put a smile I my face
Fresh turnip greens and a bowl of white beans
Wash it down with muscadine wine
Chorus
Instrumental Break
I love the sound after dinner is downed
Grandpa he gathers the kids all around
I strum my strings while everyone sings
a song about muscadine wine
Chorus x2
Good song, I like your voice. Lovely full sound and excellent recording.
Tipping my Glass to you... Chorus is Catchy it will be in my head all day "Muscadine wine,Muscadine wine, it tastes so fine That Muscadine wine"
