a song done by many folk/country performers ,chokes me up every time. there are much better renditions of it out there in music land, buy those!. this I just wanted to add to my list of occupy songs. to drive home the point.

You can stay here Terry, no problem. (smile)
Love the tune but in today's world I think I'd be sleeping with one eye open if I let a perfect stranger spend the night. I've done it with people I kinda know and not all the time but most the time I got rip off or after a period time I could see I was being taken advantage of and when I'd tell them it's time to move on they'd get hostile. But I agree with the sentiment . I've been on both ends.
An original song written by Chris Green. April 22nd is Earth Day and this song celebrates our planet and Mother Nature. See website: www.chrisgreenproject.com
An old Stephen Foster song (Pub. Domain)
Always waiting, hopeful sorrow.
Featuring my spouse, Marily!!!!
I could have picked a song to do her justice, next time. My phrasing is kind of hard to follow...
"Hey Motorman" was written for the 100 year celebration of the Ariel Lift Bridge.
The bridge was originally built in 1907 with a gondola that went from side to side carrying passengers and vehicles. It was later replaced with a lift system.
Elvis got philosophising in the cellar again last night.........................so Louie and Reg got Bluesy with him and this is what turned out of the session.........
DREAMER(Lyrics)
Well I asked the mirror if my dreams would come true…
Hanging out in the living room with one of my sons, just making stuff up. I wish I'd had the recorder closer to him - whistle too loud, guitar too soft.

come away, come away
away from trouble
away from care
come away, come away
away from sorrow
away from fear
may the cool wind find you
through a thousand thoughts unsaid
gather you in
weary day behind you
and you can lay your head…

Terry, My kind of Folk song. I dont think people have any faith in the givernment to do anything right the first time.
Right on, Terry "The Bear" Brown! You tell them jackles in DC! I really dig the melody -- haunting and totally appropriate for the lyrics.
