Leafless trees hung low in the cold.
I saw myself kneel, fall, die all alone.
No pity, no tears, no profound song.
Just gone.
The limbs of the trees broke in the wind.
Worn and old from beckoning, again and again.
But no god came. In the end…

Just sort of popped into my head, fully formed, in the last week. Dedicated to Muslimgauze (Bryn Jones) an artist who still fills me with awe.

This song is a tribute to my one and only late sister. It is not meant to be sad, it is meant to paint a picture of a deeply emotional person, who had a zest for life that was infectious. I never knew anyone else like her and I never will.

This song was originally written about a break up, but after visiting Death Valley, I wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of the desert. I combined both themes and used a basic riff I wrote years ago.

This song is simple in both arrangement and theme. It is about not taking life for granted and not ignoring the misfortunes of others.

Well, this one was written many years ago. I dug it up from the archives and re-recorded it. The arrangement and lyrics stayed the same. I just thought it could use some touching up.
