Everyone knows that the suns got to set
And a darkness will set upon the scene
The throng from the street will silence then dissapears
As it opens to the nights frontier
With the darkness, comes the fear

The night hawks pour out onto the street
Flocking to the scent of a kill
Knowing some innocent is in torment
Just to give the night its thrill

The day will surely summon the night
As sure as light conflicts with the dark

A cloak of the unkown lingers in the alleyways
The streets reflect the beckoning of the welcoming lights
The callers entice to every doorway
Giving the thrill to the dark of the night
