It’s Christmas day and he’s on his knee’s, on his knees to pray
to pray that this Christmas day, will help to heal the pain
from the bombings, from the Hurricanes from the rain
from the floods from the torture from his fellow man

all he wants this christmas day is a little bit of peace and love
all he wants this christmas day is his loved ones to hold
all he wants is love, that sweet word love
a little bit of kindness from the God up above

the pain

All he wants this Christmas day is just some kind of food
All he wants this Christmas day is something to drink
it could be water as long as it wasn’t clean and didn’t make him sick
a toy for the child, a flower for the mother
he doesn’t ask much you know, it’s not much at all
it’s what we take for granted ,each day
he’s seen the bombings the hurricans and the rain

day after day
lets help him stand up, onto his feet and make it a better world to be
