From last February...
I'm not sure where I'm going - its late - I'm tired so I may be out of my mind.
several absynths
pianoteq heavily modified
session 3 drums through guitar rig
stratocastor through guitar rig
vocoded voice via korg ms2000…
impressions
4 min in -- i am feeling/discovering a hugely large sound scape, plenty of places to get lost in ones thoughts amongst the notes
7 Min in --very expansive (what syth is this?, are you creating the long drawn out notes on a keyboard?)
9 min in --- (not being used to writing this style myself) what sort of land marks, for timing, expression are you using/feeling when you do this? how will you know when you get there?
14 min and 1 beer into the work -- still keeps my interest, but i do wonder where we are headed
17 min --- this is definitely a track to listen to, not background ,, i begin to see where we might be headed..
overall interesting,,, i enjoyed this,,,as i have noticed of late you have a lot of multi interests/talents... lots for me to think about thanks R

Outstanding nightmare! I would suggest the gentle listener doesn't get tucked in with this one unless they want to stare at the ceiling for awhile before they finally get to sleep.

This is an improvisation around a few chords I found when experimenting with two simultaneous tunings on my Fender Mustang run through the GR-20 retuned to Arabic 17 note Pythagorean tuning and also as-is through my DoD FX-7

Different recording here as the electric guitar, bass guitar were not plugged in, just recorded raw with a power mic and then EQ'ed to make it sound amped - pardon mistakes!
Nice song - I did finally get around to listening to it :-) So this is literally unplugged hard bodied normally electric instruments - I've never heard of this being done before - awesome idea!!
So after listening to some of Chris Vaisvil's music for mapped midi and such I caught the bug of inspiration and did similar but in my own way. should of included extra things but there was the on the fly idea going.

baby! This is great!! I suggest running the mp3 through Paul's Extreme Stretch too if youu haven't taken a listen. What this reminds me of is some of the odd ends and bits on Beatles albums I always wished was longer. In places it sounds backwards, other places an orchestra tuning up, other places a spaceship. Wow. man I'm floored - you really have a lot, I do mean a lot in two and a half minutes!! Check out Dan Stearns - http://homemademusic.com/daniel_stearns/info_237.php I think you'll like what he is doing.

A song of hope...
and i apologize for the "noise"...I'll try to figure it out.
here are the lyrics.
waiting in the dark
never hearing the words
waiting for the spark
to revive a dying heart
so you think it's your fault
a buried belief…
Reg has never really understood Love.......... not in last 20years since first hearing this song .........it's still all a Mystery to him................
I was listening to Andy Casson's song Old ladies over on Songcrafters and it got Reg thinking........... could this be the last song i ever hear................so Reg went down the cellar to write a one chord song using only the notes that make…
Bob and Reg got together tonight down the cellar and came up with this one dedicated to Desirea......Reg didn’t realise at the time but Desirea had got her hooks into Bob as well during her time down the cellar....but hey, all's well in love and…
a song about hoping for the best for all of us. the ending riff is about angst and disapointment and i use a flange on the ending lead guitar work. the closing of the song inspired me to make another song called locked door to my soul.
performed by Ashley Reynolds
from the album "Sunny, sorta..."
and she opened her eyes
the frailness all gone
but she wasn’t surprised
it was fortold all along
and the healing complete
not a shell anymore
what a magical feat…
this song - purple mountains was iriginally a jam back in 75. chris vaisvil was the guitarist and i always remembered it cause i liked it. he had an echo-plex then and it was pretty psychedelic. no keys were originally in the song but it was a…

I was going to listen to your song but then I figured I could to that tomorrow.
the individual samples for propane are stretched (and filtered) but not the composition.
luscious - beautiful I had not heard you until this morning and I'm glad I found your music and spirit.
nice spooky keys at 1:45 ish - very 60's psychedelic feel

I hear a lot of melodies in this one. All of the drums seem to speak to me. Even the clave. Perhaps I'm finally getting it?
