Roadie Demo
vaisvil
This is a Gibson Epiphone Roadie 1/2 scale guitar I picked up used at Guitar Center for $30. It was on the block because no one set it up. The intonation was horrific. And to top it off the bridge is ever so slightly too close to the nut. But I have (as the demonstration shows) set up the intonation reasonably well for all but the lowest string - I may have to find a shorter saddle for that string. In case you wondered - it takes regular string but you tune them a forth up to get the proper tension - so the lowest and highest strings are “A”.
The improvisation consists of two Roadie tracks against session 3 drummer. One of the Rodaie tracks gets doubled with a guitar rig amp setting towards the end. The initial right channel lead is as the guitar is with the exception of a touch of Lexicon reverb.
This is pretty sweet - lovely laid back tones.
