This song was originally written about a break up, but after visiting Death Valley, I wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of the desert. I combined both themes and used a basic riff I wrote years ago.

This song is simple in both arrangement and theme. It is about not taking life for granted and not ignoring the misfortunes of others.
