Inspired by RFK’s Mindless Menace of Violence Speech
Lyrics
Perhaps we can remember
if only for a time
that violence stops for no man
being rich and poor, and black or white
we share the same old dreams
a captive moment in our lives
it goes on and on and on
Perhaps we can remember
that all our brothers are just men
seeking only happiness
fulfilling whatever we can
to share the same old dreams
a captive moment in our lives
it goes on and on
Perhaps we can remember
denying just a chance
to stand as father and as man
among our fellow men
to share the same old dreams
a captive moment in our lives
Great tune for a great man. Perhaps we can remember when there were politicians who wanted to truly help their fellow man.
What vox recording method/verb did you use on this, i like the stereo width on it.
hey (P) nice stuff here! the mixes sound great! like the guitars and the percussion background (i.e, rattles, shakers, tamborine etc.) nice guitar lead..has a nice flow.
Nice Stuff Fella!
if you wanna know where I come from...my father grew up in North Carolina at a time when the KKK was alive and kicking. He and his family took books to black schools. I often wonder to this day...how much of an impact it had on those kids lives...what parts of the books inspired them and brought inspiration for them to help make the world a better place. peacebe.
jsut noticed the vid for this...but what do you mean in your descrip. when you say....pired by RFK's Mindless Menace of Violence Speech... o nevermind I misread it, I get what it means. Awesome song...
Great melody!
I'll second that. Great song, lovely guitar playing.
