very good 80s feel, groovy & poppy! - you might have a few extra lengths, and i wasn't really thrilled with your log/metalic drums part, as they don't add much and even take the groove down a bit..
I was just messing around with my new TR-707 drum machine, and one thing lead to another, and I kicked this out. This is something worth working on, I think.
used: TR-707, several Native Instruments soft synths, bass, and vocals.

Something I was trying to whip up for a friend of mine. He was making a youtube video, something crazy dealing with vegemite or something :P I tried some digeridoo-ish synth sound and was going to add some bongos, or timbales, or djembe, but alas…

This piece I started work on a couple months ago. It's still in it's early stages, and needs some tweaking here and there, but I like where it's going. I wrote it while heavily into Lindstrom and Prins Thomas (and still am!). Enjoy.
Recorded this instrumental earlier this year. I wanted to play with some kraut-rock ideas and blasted this short piece in a few days worth of work. Enjoy.
This is just an untitled electronic/dance/house thing I started a couple weeks ago and a little stuck on what to do next with it. Any ideas? Also uploaded to Kompoz.com to see if there's anyone out there that would like to add to it.

Yeah that's cool! I think Beth was right though- a little more varied percussion parts throughout. Of course I'd be tempted to just turn it into a full out rock thing midway through. Full kit drums and crashing guitar, but that's me!
This is my latest work, and first upload here! This piece was inspired after seeing The Juan Maclean. While John Maclean was setting up, I asked him if he'd DJ here (Portland, OR) someday, and I thought to myself the lines "If you spin it, they…

I hesitate to upload this, but there are a couple folks around who like this sort of thing. This is an edited down version of a jam I had with myself back at the end of 2007. Live to 2 tracks with the aid of the Jamman. I think it was the first…
Just one of those passing moods. Just finished today - august 2 2009. I resisted the temptation to try to develop it any further and just let it be what it is
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
[Thanks to Helen and Colin for coming to my aid with the warblings! :) ]
When You Least Expect It
And you're out to dry
And its all too hectic
Thats when it comes x 2
And it feels electric
And you feel alive
Cos when you least expect…

Total 80's grove, you rock!!
can't wait to hear what else you do with this.
very solid fundations, but it feels rapidly circling around. it might be missing something to finalize this and make a really good tune!
Hypnotic groove. Very nice!
Like this - has a great underwater club feel. And I really like all the surprises - agree with El Lynch.
Love the switch to space vigilante at around 1 min 3 secs.
This is an excellent track, I think you are right, it needs bongos.
Like it so far. Has a nice drive to it! Oooh! and that texture change at about 3:30 is really cool
you lay down some phat drums/bass
I REALLY like this one...you did it in D major maybe? Would it be cool if I added to it?
Wow, sounds like a cool project - looking forward to hearing it develop!

I particularly like this one, hypnotic rhythm, understated vocal, recommend head phones everyone. Lovely dancey track.
Very nice piece, I like where it is going as well.
Welcome to Alonetone.
Can't help but move to this one. Has funk and a great swagger as well!
very Nice! Love that synth loop that runs through it
Oh Yea! There's a funky beat. Reaching for the volume knob....
Cool blend of sounds. Mellow.
