Elation came as love moved within us and all around us. The cities we lived in hummed along with us.

And so, we all went back to our lives alone. Still, we dreamed and saw the beauty surrounding us. Still, the sun was pushing through the fog.

We walled ourselves in apartments and rooms away from each other. Random thoughts and mundane life was grinding us to a halt inside. Some days, we were tyrants, and some days we were saints.
