This is a song inspired by the town i grew up in, and where I still live. Its a nod to the comfort I’ve enjoyed from being surrounded by the mountains of the Caerphilly basin. The verse lyrics acknowledge how little we tend to go to the places of beauty that are often so nearby, and the chorus lyrics see me talking to the mountain on one of the many occasions I’ve gone there to escape.
