Refreshing Elixir

I like herbal tea, caffeine free
Decaf with cream of soy, soy milk that he mean
Green tea
Water
Or regular coffee, get it hot or hardly
How about icy?
I’m always partial to a nice cool glass of sparkling water
My kind of elixir
I give ya
I got ya
The broth at the bottom of the pan after my vegetables soften
Or the juice from the fruit chunks it came out of
How about the sweet soup that you gain when you drain a can of kernel corn or green peas
Yeah That’s on my brain indeed
Watermelon water’s lovely though
You ever put too much water and drown them overnight oats?
That’s oat milk if you didn’t get the picture yet, joe
Listen hear, guy
A couple times I drank from the shower nozzle as it was sprinkling down
Right now those merry men envision the images, wow, yuck
A far cry from the Kool Aid and orange juice, V8, calf fluid, etc and all the rest of the beverages I’d drink up when I was in school
Not to mention the booze, I had to lose, fucks with you
I don’t remember the breast milk which was probably the best milk
Hell, probably the best drink
I drank so much Monster I was a bit sick
Soda has changed my life in so many ways, from making me gain weight to making my heart chase and making my brain race
In the Midwest we call it pop
Artificial sweeteners never did me harm from what I can tell
If I forgot a libation or two tell me
But if it’s a milkshake or kefir from dairy, go to hell for me, heifer
