Proteus [I]
Spun around like a seer’s needle
A philosopher so lost in his riddle
Tries to speak but no longer able
Drifting in the deepest dream
This one took me a while [years!] to complete - how did it come out?

Note/MPT: 8/19/12 – I wasn’t totally happy with the original mix, so I recorded it again. If people think the old mix sounded better, let me know and I’ll put it back.
Note/MPT 9/1/12: Lauren Grubb helped me clean up the mix further. I’ve uploaded that version now. I think it got the levels sounding better on speakers, without overcooking things.
Sorry, I just left a message with no name. Best of luck, Dave T.
Different! Me likes different! The intro is strong but when the drums come in, they're non produced. If there's Bass, it's hard to tell. more bottom and big on the drums working together on that riff I think, would sound awesome. Vocal levels are not consistent. Great vocal though, I'm a fan!
I re-recorded Proteus [I] to try and get the levels better. How does it sound now? Any feedback would be appreciated.
The title drew me in... It goes from a vibe that sounds like electronic 'Yes' and then takes on a Dylan-esque quality... Fun!
Brilliantly pieced together. Awesome track!
Whoa love how this starts
Wow! Thanks to Tess for pointing this one out. Great piece of work! Mix sounds really good in cans
An 8 minute adventure - just great! Love the traditional folk flavours in your melody.
