Stormbreak

What had begun as a perfunctory piloting exercise turned into a near disaster.

Attempting to navigate the Generation Ship around the outer rung of a red dwarf, I was caught unsuspecting by a poorly timed geomagnetic storm. This was further complicated by a binary neutron star that had been absent from the Generation Ship’s navigation database, which was feeding on the storm and pulling it in our path.

I was able to narrowly avoid the flare, but there was some damage to the outer sheathing, and I need to run diagnostics. This involves a direct interface with the holographic, which is a dangerous game, as we don’t want to pull the veil back on the Hibernators. I’m only a Conductor - I most certainly don’t want to be perceived as their god.
